Laguna Lookout should be on everyone’s ‘must visit’ list!
Above Hastings Street, and overlooking the beautiful Noosa waterways, sits one of the area’s best kept secrets.
Nestled on the fringes of the Noosa National Park and once guarded by the locals as ‘their’ secret spot, Laguna Lookout is fast becoming one of Noosa’s most Instagramable experiences.
A visit to this stunning spot leaves little doubt why.
The circular lookout serves up sweeping, panoramic views over Noosa Heads and Noosaville. You can even see as far as the Noosa Hinterland.
It is a beautiful spot any time of day. But as the sun sets, the sky above Noosa regularly lights up in a dazzling display of colours.
It’s one of those ‘not to be missed’ experiences that shows the natural beauty of the area at its best.
Why not act like a local and relax on a picnic blanket on the grassy area below the lookout, as you enjoy nature’s show?!

How to find Laguna Lookout
There are two ways to find this hidden gem.
If driving, look for the signposted turn off onto Viewland Drive from Noosa Drive. (Noosa Drive is the road over Noosa Hill between Noosa Heads and Noosa Junction.)
Follow the road all the way to the end and you will find a small car park with Laguna Lookout directly in front of you.
Alternatively, you can reach Laguna Lookout on foot.
Take the Yunaman Bushland Reserve walking track, which is located off Morwong Drive at the end of Hastings Street.
The entrance to the track is opposite the Noosa Residences.
But be aware that the 2.4km return trip is very steep, with numerous steps.
