If you’re craving somewhere to escape to, while also wanting to feast on some of the Coast’s the most mouth-watering food, then we’ve discovered the place for you.
Nestled on the main street of Woombye is one of the Sunshine Coast’s cutest café offerings – Café Frankie’s
The passion of owner Bec Galler and named after her adorable little daughter, this intimate café is the perfect place to revive while enjoying your daily caffeine or chai latte fix.
As the saying goes, good things come in small packages, and Café Frankie’s is just that. Watch the world pass by as you sit at the high benches out the front, or catch up with friends at a table in the small indoor seating area or cute little courtyard out back.
Although we wouldn’t blame you is you don’t make it any further than the two cute and highly ‘Instagramable’ swing chairs that greet you as you walk up to the café counter.
In fact, we’re going to throw down a challenge – we want to see what fun YOU can have capturing this beautiful, floral swing!
Share your photos on Instagram or Facebook and tag Café Frankie’s and Our Coast Life so we can join in the fun!
During our visit, we feasted on the brunch menu, which showcases a range of delicious local produce, and includes the perfect mix of sweet and savoury offerings to suit everyone’s tastebuds.
We were lucky enough to try the sweet banana bread accompanied by berries, ice cream and Palmwoods Honey honeycomb; the Mexican bean croissant made with a deliciously fluffy Woombye Bakery croissant; and super generous Brisket Reuben sandwich featuring Woombye Butchery’s melt-in-your mouth meat.
Combined with quality coffee and a beautifully presented smoothies and iced coffee, our tastebuds were definitely in heaven. We’re still dreaming about that banana bread!
And later in the day, we could definitely see ourselves settled in the fairy light-adorned intimate courtyard, sipping on a cocktail as we soak up the atmosphere. Get us back there ASAP!
Opening every day, if you’re near Woombye you’d be crazy not to stop by. But the delicious food and relaxed vibe of this cute little café mean it’s also a very good reason for a road trip to tantalise your tastebuds while capturing your next sensational selfie on the swing!
